This product is shipped at MID-STROKE position to allow up to 20 seconds run time after power-up to determine if the actuator is running in the correct direction. If the MCC is issuing a CLOSE command, the actuator must rotate in a CW direction. If the actuator is NOT rotating in the proper direction, IMMEDIATELY remove power and switch two of the three wires on the motor terminal block inside the actuator. If this verification is not completed within 20 seconds from mid-stroke position, it is possible that the actuator will be damaged due to the motor driving past the respective electrical travel limit switches.
